Community

White Forest Resources, Inc. and all our subsidiaries strive to be good neighbors and support the communities in which we work and live. 

Our operations have collected and distributed donations to organizations to aid the less fortunate in our communities and have provided children with Christmas gifts, clothing, and other necessities. Additionally, schools have been provided with sports equipment for physical education activities.

White Forest Resources, Inc. recently participated as a Corporate Sponsor in the Inaugural “Rise Above Banquet” benefiting the Upper Kanawha Valley YMCA located in Montgomery, WV. The Baisi Athletic Center was previously a part of WVU Tech.  Following the relocation of the college to Beckley, the remaining facility has been re-dedicated as the UKV YMCA effective January 2018. The YMCA program development is underway and will continue as a cornerstone for strengthening the communities of the Upper Kanawha Valley.

During June, 2016, Greenbrier County, West Virginia endured devastating floods that claimed many lives, destroyed infrastructure, and left many families homeless. During this period of time we worked closely with WV DOH and WV DNR to provide equipment and labor to reconstruct substantial sections of WV County Road 1/1 (Anjean Road). Our crew worked two solid weeks to complete rebuilding the public infrastructure at no cost to taxpayers. The WVDOH completed paving by the fall of 2016, and the WVDNR resumed stocking trout in Big Clear Creek in March of 2017.
